Animal Care League 'Yappy Hour' | May 17, 2017

Cheney Mansion | 220 North Euclid Avenue Oak Park, IL, 60302

The Chicago School of Canine Massage will have a team of students, graduates, and instructors volunteering their time. We will be providing 15 minute post-event sports massage sessions to all 4-legged participants. These massage sessions are crucial in helping animals recover from exercise, thereby preventing soreness and injury. Outreach events like Yappy Hour provide students with real-life hands-on experience and the opportunity to share the benefits of massage with the community.

CSCM will be volunteering from 6:30-8:00pm on May 17th. We hope you can join us to help support The Animal Care League and all the amazing work they do for the animals. Help us make this event the biggest ever by sharing with your family, friends, and colleagues.

Students and graduates who are interested in volunteering with CSCM to provide post-event canine massage for participants, please complete the following form.

I hereby acknowledge as a CSCM student, I will not promote my personal business as I will be representing the Chicago School of Canine Massage. However, CSCM Graduates will be acting as contractors for the Chicago School of Canine Massage and are responsible for their own liability insurance. We require each participant dog parent to sign a waiver stating all students, graduates, and staff of CSCM are not vets, do not diagnose, perform surgery, or prescribe medicine. Pet parents will also understand that muscle therapy and energy work is not a replacement for proper veterinary care and that any injuries or diseases must be medically diagnosed and treated by a veterinarian and give permission for a CSCM therapist to work on their pet. CSCM graduates who are NBCAAM certified are encouraged to promote their private practice to potential clients. *
