Student Clinic August 7th

Sign-up today! The next Chicago School of Canine Massage Student Clinic session is Sunday, August 7th!

(12:30, 2:00 or 3:30pm)

The student clinic, a canine massage therapy clinic and outreach program sponsored by the Chicago School of Canine Massage (CSCM), is designed to give students and graduates the opportunity to use the skills they've learned in class in a real-life setting. It is staffed and operated by students and graduates with supervision by one of CSCM's lead instructors. Instructors will be present to support students through the process of a professional canine massage session, which includes a client intake and initial evaluation, client interaction and communication, and a variety of massage techniques. The student clinic will provide students an opportunity to use their talents while giving back to the community - each month CSCM will showcase a rescue or shelter partner which will benefit from all student clinic profits. The cost of a one hour evaluation and session in the student clinic is only $20.

August rescue partner is the Animal Care League! The Animal Care League is a limited admission shelter located in Oak Park.  They help homeless cats, dogs and other small animals by providing them food, shelter, medical attention and love until we can find them a loving home. In addition, the Animal Care League:

  • Educates the public about responsible pet ownership.
  • Shelters lost, abandoned and unwanted animals.
  • Prevents the birth of unwanted animals.
  • Reunites lost pets and their families.
  • Adopts animals into loving and responsible homes.
  • Lovingly cares for the pets that reside in our animal shelter.
  • Assists low income families with special spay/neuter/vaccination pricing.
