Basic Sports Massage for the Active Dog

Whether or not your dog is a competitive agility dog, participates in various sports, or just likes to play, sports massage can help improve your dogs' performance, reduce the chances of injury, relieve muscle soreness and maintain good range of motion. Basic sports massage techniques will be taught, as will gait observation skills along with recognizing signs of discomfort and/or pain. In many cases early intervention is the key to preventing serious injury. This class will help you help your dog to continue his or her active lifestyle and keep moving and boy does it make them feel good!

Canine Communication

Dogs use body language to communicate with each other and with humans. Those who love dogs but don't understand their language can send the wrong signals even with the best intentions. This class will help you to understand what your dog and other dogs are actually communicating. Learning dog speak will not only strengthen your relationship with your dog but help you interact with all dogs in general.

Canine Massage 101

This 2 hour hands-on massage class will teach you how to give your dog a massage using basic techniques that are safe and effective.  This class includes instruction on preparing yourself and your dog for massage, reading your dog's body language, proper use of several massage techniques, and providing your dog with regular at-home assessment massages for health and wellness.
