Sunday, May 21st marks The Anti-Cruelty Society's 23rd annual 5k walk, Bark in the Park. The Chicago School of Canine Massage will have a large team of students, graduates, and instructors volunteering their time. We will be providing 15 minute post-event sports massage sessions to all 4-legged participants. These massage sessions are crucial in helping animals recover from exercise, thereby preventing soreness and injury. Outreach events like Bark in the Park provide students with real-life hands-on experience and the opportunity to share the benefits of massage with the community.
Bark in the Park is the Society's single largest fundraising event of the year. This important fundraiser was the first pet-friendly event held in Chicago; and with more than 3,000 animal lovers, supporters, and walking enthusiasts returning, they anticipate this year being the best yet!
CSCM will be volunteering from 10am-2pm on May 21st. We hope you can join us to help support The Anti-Cruelty Society and all the amazing work they do for the animals. Help us make this event the biggest ever by sharing with your family, friends, and colleagues.
The Chicago School of Canine Massage is asking for a $5 suggest donation for 15 minutes of canine massage services. All proceeds will benefit the Anti-Cruelty Society.
